Just had LP gas delivered to my residence by Propane Energies in Parsons, TN. The truck driver was unprofessional and basically called me a LIAR. When he was pumping gas, I went out to greet him and he proceeded to tell me that it is always best to be truthful about the procentage of the gas level in the tank. I ask him to explain what he was talking about. He said that the 1st call by me said that I had 20% in the tank and 5 days later I called in and said 5% was in tank. He proceeded to tell me that it was not possible to have used 15% in 5 days and it was always best to be truthful about the tank percentages and that it would not make them deliver it any faster and if I run out I would just run out. I told him I did not call in and say 20% but around 10% and I only use the gas for cooking. Actually, I called in and said it was around 10% on 12/23/08 and said it was no hurry that week but I wanted it delivered the next week if possible. They said no problem. On 12/30/08, I called to remind them about it since they had not came yet and that the 1st call was answered by someone driving using their cell phone and I was now around 7%. I was just making sure that it was not forgotten. They show up today and I was around 5%. So, actually I used about 5% in about 10 days. If I was trying to get the gas delivered faster wouldn't I tell them it was like at 5% or less not more. If I had said 5% and he got here 10 days later and it was 15%, then he would have a good reason to make a statement. My point to all of this is you don't send a driver out to deliver gas that tells their customers that they are basically liars. This is not a good practice I don't care what business you are in. Before he left, he had realized that he had upset me and was trying to sort of smooth things out. I told him that this just might be the last time I buy gas from them. Guess what he said? It would be OK with him. I believed they need a new driver that represents their company better.
